Kristin Sabia is Senior Vice President of Accounting at DLC and is responsible for the oversight of the financial accounting and reporting affairs of the company. In addition, Ms. Sabia oversees the company’s internal controls, debt, and tax compliance as well as the cash management functions. Ms. Sabia has nearly 18 years of experience in accounting where she has specialized in the real estate industry.
Prior to joining DLC, Ms. Sabia served as the Chief Accounting Officer of a publicly traded partnership where she was directly responsible for various functions including internal controls, accounting, tax, financial reporting, treasury, and information technology.
Prior to then, she held various leadership roles, including Chief Accounting Officer, Controller and Assistant Controller, of two publicly registered non-traded global REITs sponsored by W.P. Carey Inc. (“WPC”). In these positions, she was responsible for overseeing the internal controls, accounting, and financial reporting for both operational activities and complex transactions.
Prior to joining WPC, Ms. Sabia held various positions in the real estate assurance practice at Ernst & Young LLP where she began her career.
Ms. Sabia is a Certified Public Accountant in New York and received a B.S. in Accounting from the State University of New York at Albany.
