Team DLC builds a home for a family in Jaco, Costa Rica

At DLC, community knows no bounds.

We are extremely proud to share that two of our VP’s of Property Management, Jeffery Levy and Donna Younce, recently returned from Jaco, Costa Rica, where they participated in a home building mission with Homes of Hope , and that DLC team members raised over $6,250 for the project.

Along with a crew of amazing volunteers, Jeff and Donna completed the project for the Mora-Rubi family. Says Maynor Mora-Rubi, “This is a real blessing for us because by our own means we could not be able to afford building a new house. I want to give a better place to live to my kids. We are all so happy and excited to be able to have a new decent place to live”

Homes of Hope is an outreach organization of Youth With a Mission (YWAM), an international, interdenominational missions movement launched in 1960. Homes of Hope began in 1990 and since that time over 100,000 individuals have volunteered to construct over 5,300 homes for the needy in 21 countries.
