FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

DLC MANAGEMENT CORP. ANNOUNCES NEW CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS TO ACCOMMODATE GROWTH

Tarrytown, N.Y., (Apr. 5, 2017) – DLC Management Corporation (DLC), a national owner and operator of open-air shopping centers, announced today that it will relocate its headquarters to support the rapid growth of the business. The new office will be located at Taxter, a 175,000-square-foot office building at 565 Taxter Road in Elmsford, N.Y. The move will be effective in August 2017, with construction to begin on the 19,533-square foot space in May. DLC plans to construct a transformative modern home for the growing company. As part of the move, DLC has collaborated with the Westchester County Industrial Development Agency (IDA) to promise continued job creation in Westchester County.

“After 17 years and five in-place expansions in our current location, I’m delighted to announce that DLC will be moving into an all new state-of-the-art headquarters in the soon-to-be renovated 565 Taxter Road building,” said Adam W. Ifshin, Chief Executive Officer, DLC.

In concert with their design architect, TPG Architecture, DLC is designing a dynamic and welcoming work space that will amplify and express the company’s people-first #success culture. The company defines #success as, “working together to create a personally rewarding, productive, respectful, profitable and thoroughly enjoyable place to work.”

“We conducted a yearlong search for a new home for DLC before finding a fine landlord partner in Keystone Property Group at Taxter. Keystone’s willingness and commitment to fully renovate the common areas, lobby and exterior of 565 were crucial components of our decision to relocate our headquarters there,” said Ifshin.

The new office will include open workspaces, state-of-the-art technology and collaborative areas for all teams, as well as various meeting and conference rooms able to house up to 90 employees. Taxter will also offer personnel a completely renovated building lobby and entrance along with lifestyle conveniences such as an on-site gym, locker room and cafeteria.

“When we embarked on our renovation of Taxter, we strove to create the sort of environment that would enhance productivity for forward-thinking firms, and DLC is exactly the kind of company we hoped to attract,” said Tom Sklow, Keystone Property Group’s Vice President of Development and Leasing. “We could not be happier to be adding them to our diverse and prestigious roster of tenants at this first-rate modern office venue, and look forward to continuing our relationship with them for years to come.”

Founded in 1991 in Tarrytown, New York, DLC has always called Westchester County home and is thrilled to continue to do so. After conducting a thorough search throughout the New York Tri-State area it became increasingly clear that, along with the help of the Westchester IDA, there was no place like home.

“We started our evaluation of a headquarters relocation with our team members in mind. To be able to continue our growth as a proud Westchester company employing mostly local residents is extremely satisfying,” said Ifshin.

“We are very proud of DLC’s growth here in Westchester,” said County Executive Robert P. Astorino. “The firm’s expansion is a great example of our county’s economic development and what a public-private partnership can do to create more jobs. Congratulations to DLC Management Corporation on their success; we are so happy that you call Westchester home.”

This announcement — along with DLC’s planned growth through new job creation — comes on the heels of the recent news of unprecedented business growth for the company, which with affiliates has acquired 10.3 million square feet of retail space in the past 3 years.
