DLC Giving Back: Ronald McDonald House

Colleagues holding pans of food at Ronald McDonald House

During their one-day Strategy Planning meeting, DLC’s Asset Management department spent the day discussing its ‘why’ and aligning its go-forward plan to the company’s three primary goals – Best in Class Team, Speed to Execution and Enterprise Scale (Growth).

As DLC deeply cares about giving back to the community, the Asset Management department also wanted to end the day with thanks and giving back. By collaborating with the Capital Markets team, they joined forces to cook a spectacular meal for the Ronald McDonald House, which helps and provides support to millions of families with sick children.

They cooked a buffet-style meal for 30 people, whipping up a wide range of flavors including Sausage & Peppers, Grilled Lemon Chicken, Roasted Broccoli with Farfalle Pasta, Roasted Herb and Lemon Shrimp, Salad, and Fruit platter. On their way out, the families also received packaged snacks with inspirational messages for their hospital trips.

The local chapter foundation that DLC’s teams served is located in Valhalla. It helps families in need while their children receive treatments for illnesses or injuries at the Maria Fareira Children’s Hospital. For more information, click here: https://rmh-ghv.org/
